not a matter of "educating" or "dumb" but of deep psycho-social resistance--this shows that circumcision works--creates a pathology of opposition, chosenness, & paranoia that is strengthened by contradiction--only hope is to help them achieve introspectionhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ec92eRrnWdY …

@RedRabbit00340 Sorry but even as an adult, 30ish years after, it was my mother I confronted, not my father. It's the maternal instinct that's supposed to protect a child from harm, and it's the mother that the infant bonds with around the time of their birth.

Yes, but that doesn't factor in here, I could have confronted my father over it, but it was my mother who shouldered the lions share of the blame from me, not even the doctor, though he's probably the one person alive today I wish real ill on. My mother would be the one who >>

And I am glad he was, but again, this isn't about logic really is it, I didn't look through the hospital records and watch a recording from a security camera in the room and decide who was to blame that way.

honestly ..both your parents probably just did the cliche and wanted what was best for you and doctors fucking lied to them. and your parents may not have had a whole activist community trying to warn them against it on social media depending on how old you are..

And I don't doubt that, it also isn't at all the point. It's not the point that it was normal, it's not the point that doctors pushed it, it's not the point that both parents likely had a say. It IS the point that the emotional response to feeling this betrayal focused on mom.

the baby, shocked and traumatized, is fractured in his ability to absolutely trust the mother he has biologically & innately turned to as his primordial source of safety. From the beginning, masculinity now defined as that which must be cut off from mother & all that is female

it was on the computer they logged into everytime they came in my room to ask me. its must have been the hospitals policy to have them ask this and i think many of the nurses asked again out of pure disbelief.

How can we change a hospital policy? That would be a good place to look. Also Pre natal groups. We have the national childbirth trust in the UK for new parents. Do you have similar in The USA
