But let's get back to the math: Okay, let's say overhead eats up 10%. That leaves 90 for me and my worker. If he works as hard as I do, we each take 45% of the profit, and I own the company, how is it exploitation?

Because that 10% goes ot you, your interests, your business and he pays for it via having his labor extracted.

It doesn't go to me, and the business is both of our interests since he wants to keep his job and I want to keep employing him. If that relationship requires a financial upkeep, we both benefit from fulfilling it.

So wait, you believe that EVEN THOUGH WE BOTH WORK EQUALLY HARD, the only non-exploitative way to pay a worker is to pay them more than what you make, because all business expense should come out of your pocket and not from the company profits?

That or the means of production is owned. . .by the workers. I swear I could have said that at some point.pic.twitter.com/xYgpsKrhi0

What happens when some workers don't work as hard as others in the collective? What happens when a company goes bankrupt and owes money, out of whose pockets does it come? What happens when some workers just don't want to run shit, and just want to work?

The reason that the extra 10% goes to "me", via paying for expenses, EVEN THOUGH BOTH THE WORKER AND I BENEFIT FROM PAYING THOSE EXPENSES, is because I'm legally responsible for the company and he is not. If it tanks, I'm fucked. He's out of a job, I am out of WAY more than that

You still benefit more. Point blank period. It is inescapable.

I benefit more because I risk more. Why risk if there's no reward? You can't complain that people who take chances are rewarded when the bet pays off. You can't constantly cry when people taking risks get ahead while you desire safety.

If Amazon went out off business Jeff Bezos would be less damaged than the workers

To see the real value is at Amazon: If Bezos didn't show up for work on a given day, everything would run fine. If all the workers didn't show up, they would lose millions in a single day.

And so would the workers and their families and their communities, etc. the consequences don’t stop at Bezos. To believe so is myopic.
