A year ago, Tonga was hit by a devastating volcanic eruption. Tonga Red Cross has been continuing to help communities ever since. Australians responded swiftly, donating to our Tonga Recovery Appeal. Over 2000 people have been helped with food, clean water, cash and more.

The lack of frequent meals for children in Somalia is leading to a rise in malnutrition. At health clinics, Red Crescent teams have been giving children under 5 nutritional biscuits (BUSKUD) to slow down malnutrition rates. Severe cases are transferred to the nearest hospital.
