    Please read thread and This is one of those things that is common sense, has almost universal support, and should be easy.

    This makes no sense to me. I can give you the names of a bunch of people who would be sent back to prison under this policy, despite the fact that none of them is a threat to public safety.

    Closing MCC is a step in the right direction + should be a wake up call for the entire fed prison system. The reasons cited—unsanitary conditions, chronic medical staff shortages + widespread corruption—are problems plaguing fed prisons nationwide. It's time for national reform.
