Hospital chains treat clinics and hospitals like Amazon warehouses: patients are the inventory and they want us off their shelves as quickly as possible. To make that happen, they force their warehouse workers (doctors, nurses, PAs, etc.) to work 12-hour days w/o breaks.
Our for-profit system exists to enrich the capitalist class at the expense of the rest of us.
Even the so-called "non-profit" hospitals are all about the bottom line. We must stop Chi Franciscan from monopolizing our health care providers.
