Just finished the storm before the storm and 1/3 of the way through "the act of killing". Really stands out that once political/ideological killings are allowed, it becomes a normal part of daily life and intensifies. " breaking of norms" becomes "this is the new normal"

The Storm Before the Storm looks really good. I'm listening to Revolutions right now.

It was really really good. Everything up to the end of Giaus and Tiberius Gracchus was super enlightening from a marxist perspective. I had to stop revolutions and go learn theory first, I was getting overhwelmed. I need to circle back and listen to revolutions.
