My district had an autonomous zone for 20 years: the homeless encampment by the river. The government abandoned them, and they created their own community and took care of themselves the best they could under terrible conditions.

The screenshot circulating around contradicts someone I follow who’s been monitoring and assisting food in CHAZ. They get a lot of food donations and such, and are willingly feeding and assisting the homeless.
