I like to call taxes "the subscription fee for your citizenship" since if you can simply choose not to pay taxes by renouncing your citizenship and paying a one-time 40% tax on your net worth. For some reason nobody really does that though, so the taxes can't be too bad.

But there is theft of taxes by politicians spending it on things of which we don’t receive benefit.

The fact I pay more in taxes than millionaires is theft. The fact my tax money is used to give billion dollar bailouts to corps that don’t even need it, while I can’t get UBI, rent freeze or even healthcare. That is theft.

The only theft is not taxing what needs to be taxed. Thanks for standing with AOC and supporting the wealth tax. This will allow the state to provide free housing food healthcare education transportation telecommunication and utilities to all Americans regardless of work.
