I appreciate their service. We can’t stress enough that the best and only proper way we can honor our veterans is by assuring we never need to send our m often disadvantaged young men and women to die in war ever again.
My grandparents are buried at Arlington National Cemetery, and I'll always remember visiting the haunting Korean War Memorial for the first time. My grandfather hated war and loved our country. We must protect our active service members and veterans, now and always.

This Vietnam vet asks if your concerns include not starting stupid Imperial wars, and ending the ones that politicians and Beltway Bobbleheads started and keep on sending us mopes to go kick in doors, kill other brown people, and get shot or blown up.

That’s cool but the problem is democrats in general always take away from us vets.

And Republicans are the ones that create vets. Perhaps we shouldn’t go to war if we can’t afford the peace, and should stop criminally underfunding the VA. If those in power genuinely gave a damn about veterans outside of showpieces, that is.
