My position on UBI has changed. I now support it because of coronavirus — as long as it doesn't cause people to lose other benefits — and a $1,200 one-time payment isn't enough.

I really respect how open you are about allowing your opinion to evolve in a way that meets the urgency of this moment. I think a robust GND-adjacent employment program would be fantastic, but in an either/or scenario, I’m all for UBI.
