In serious, scary times, I've been heartened to see people coming together to help their communities. In just 24 hours, @WestSoundDSA and our campaign raised over $1,000 for grocery and laundry money for low-income seniors in our district.

We're on track to outpace last quarter's fundraising.
I'm doing all this because we NEED progressive policies, and #COVID19 shows that more than ever.
We need:
Unemployment benefits for all
$2,000 cash per month per person
Ban on evictions and foreclosures
Free testing and healthcare
Protection of our civil liberties
And more
Apparently we're going to pretend it's not happening and "go back to work" in a week. This will work 
I understand you can’t ask for more than 2 weeks... and af least it’s a start... but 2 weeks is nowhere near enough.
I must be a one off, I live alone in the woods. Self isolation is my natural state. Given my druthers, I go to town maybe once a month. I don't really understand why people find their own company so inadequate/unsatisfactory. #StayHome
