There already are restaurants that have gone out of business because of this. And everyone in the gig economy in Seattle and the surrounding area is being hit hard by so many event cancellations.
This is HUGE and will have ripple effects throughout the economy. And by economy, I don't mean the 1%'s stocks diving. I mean workers.

I am watching the events that are my bread and butter get cancelled one by one. And watching event organizers having to make hard choices, knowing that no matter how they choose to handle shutdowns, the damage is going to be difficult to recover from, if not impossible.
