I am a union member and on staff for a labor union and I can also say that while many union health care plans are excellent, M4A (which we should really call improved or enhanced M4A) is almost always more generous than even a really good union health plan.

Union members should know health care paid by the employer can be taken away by the employer During the strike last year, GM cut insurance payments and people whose kids have cancer lost coverage. GM restored the payments when they realized they made the union arg for m4a
