That weird financial blind spot is the worst. I was thrown off of Washington Apple Health because my monthly income was less than $60 over their limit.
The husband of a friend of mine went without insulin for years and had a massive heart attack because of it. He made too much for assistance but too little to afford insulin. The greed of pharmaceutical executives did this to him.

That's awful, insulin profiteers should be dragged through the streets in chains. The guys who invented it gave the patent away to keep people from doing this. It's absolutely disgusting it has been used this way.

Six bucks. That's how much a vial of insulin actually costs to make. The sociopathic greed that it takes for anyone to charge someone hundreds of dollars for one just floors me.
