    This ⬇️ is really important. Teachers/schools r having a extra hard year b/c kids @ super different places w/ pressure to "catch up". BUT we know best thing to do in post-crisis recovery ed= take kids where they are, support mental health, work on long-term plan..

    A lot of teachers are stressed because their students are not where they expect them to be by this point. They need to give themselves some grace. They can’t teach twice as hard and the kids can’t learn twice as fast. We just take them where we get them… and move them forward.
