Rain showers will start to increase as the day unfolds Saturday. It does look like the bulk of it will come during the course of the evening and overnight so fingers crossed much of both weekend days daylight periods are dry! About a half inch of rain on the way. #readywx

As we're in the midst of our wettest summer Month the lack of rainfall continues... at least for now. Many spots behind on rain over the last two months by over 5 inches!

Light rain amounts over the last 20, 40 and 60s days as we continue to climb further into drought conditions. At least there's some rain in store this weekend and early next week. #readywx

No real surprise here.... weekly drought monitor is in and showing increasing drought conditions across our area. When there's more rain in store for you - at noon

Daily, June to date and year to date averages ... Milwaukee at .11" is the first rain of the month and just shy of the daily normal. We'll take it!

Not that we don't have long boring stretches of weather, but this recent dry stretch is starting to get out of hand... 17 days and counting... a minor chance for rain tomorrow and a little better chance on Saturday. #fingerscrossed

Only 8 more minutes to gain on our sunset where we top out at our longest days of the year as we round the start of astronomical Summer!

A hazy sky to start the new work week, but temps are warm... it will likely be the warmest day of the week as we cool for a few days then warm back up heading into the weekend. #readywx

Chance we could see some decent hail with this cell up to quarter size so a Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued until 5:30pm. The cell is drifting east at 15 mph

Decent line of storms now in progress... mostly well inland but watching a cell just south of Kenosha co ... hoping a few more pop in that area. What's it like where you are?

Cells keeping popping up, some getting strong... likely good downpours with this and could see some penny hail along with brief gusty wind.

We had some isolated 90s across the state for highs yesterday...for Milwaukee it's been a while. The last 90 in the metro was August 6th ...a cool 298 days ago. More 90s are possible over the next few days although lakeside spots likely stay in the 80s with a lake breeze to cont.

No surprise we are closing the books on one of the driest May's of all time... in fact, less than 10 May's ended with under an inch of rain. Records going back to 1871.
