In 2 minutes, the Senate Judiciary Committee will be voting on the nomination of Neomi Rao to the DC Circuit. Rao’s views are completely disqualifying for someone seeking a lifetime seat on one of our nation’s highest courts. #RejectRao #CourtsMatter #CripTheVote

Most notably, Rao has dedicated her career to defending the dangerous and deeply offensive practice of "dwarf-tossing" - essentially a legal way to treat little people like me as nothing more than objects. #RejectRao #CripTheVotehttps://rewire.news/article/2018/11/30/to-be-tossed-or-not-to-be-tossed-is-that-the-question/ …

Furthermore, the argument Rao makes using “dwarf tossing” to discriminate against LGBTQ and racially diverse communities is part of an increasingly common trend of using the disability community and our rights as a weapon to harm other marginalized groups. #RejectRao #CripTheVote

The seat that Rao is nominated to fill was vacated by none other than #SCOTUS Justice Brewski Kavanaugh, who was credibly accused of sexual assault. He also justified performing abortions on disabled women without their informed consent. #RejectRao #CripTheVote

4 out of 5 disabled women have been assaulted, with higher rates depending on the type of disability. Considering Rao's comments about sexual assault survivors, it is particularly disturbing to confirm her to this vacancy. #RejectRao #CripTheVote
