    Putting out a request to to boost these tweets. A member of our community needs help and perhaps whoever is in charge of social media at starts seeing themselves tagged in a whole bunch of tweets they’ll get their staff to do the right thing

    It would be really great if staff at realized that disabled people are parents too. When a disabled parent requests accommodations, the hospital is a place of public accommodation that has a legal obligation to provide a disabled person with a support person.

    If I could have one single sentence in a reconciliation bill to improve policies for Americans with disabilities, it would be to raise the countable asset limit for SSI TO $50,000, permanently indexed to inflation. Why we didn’t do this in ACA...I will never know.

    We're cant aim to make BIPOC achieve white standards. I'm talking equity here. Not equality. Go a step further & consider looking at data like this through an intersectional lens- even just ONE other factor. NOT to be confused w an intersectING lens. That's not the same thing. 🤯
