Until Linux supports Adobe Creative Cloud and other software for art and music production, then it's not a replacement for people who do more than browse the internet and check email.

For that specific use case? Sure. Some people say the same thing about Mac vs PC. But Linux works for a lot more than browsing the internet and checking email; for example, few people (if any) pentest using Windows. Worth noting that Dreamworks used Linux to render its films.

Don't get me wrong. I want to love Linux. I have a dual boot setup with CentOS 7, but for most of what I do, I have no choice but to use Windows. I'd use MacOS in a heartbeat if they let me install it on my system, but I refuse to pay 3+ times more to get the equivalent specs.
