I stand with protestors nationwide, whose justified anger I share over the repeated failures of our legal system to protect black and brown people and have accountability for police who kill or civilians who seek to weaponize the police.

The vast majority of protestors are engaged in lawful, constitutionally protected activity. I denounce and caution against all crime and remind everyone that destroying or vandalizing property is illegal and counterproductive to our movement’s goals.
