It is sad how believes that humans are incapable of having more than 50 skills, yet they can have 5000+ connections.

PR has some punny PR people. "Federal Minister Shiekh Rasheed Ahmad is making hectic efforts to enhance Pakistan Railways' revenue by putting it on the right track, the statement further added."

The cab driver commented that VIP movement blocked traffic in the past too, but never as blatantly as the current government.

Finally, people got out of their stupor, and a few honks started a chain reaction. Then a local hero stepped in, put the warden in his place, and fixed it. Dozens of people left the place disgusted and disappointed. Don't miss the video:

There was no VIP protocol in sight, probably because our cars we're stopped way before the highway, near an "Insaaf General Store".

At least the rest of the 100km from Abbottabad to Islamabad took only two hours. The plan was to get home in 20 minutes and catch up on my weekend emails before sleeping, but when the cab driver turned from GT road to Kashmir Highway, a single traffic warden blocked the road.

The sweet smell of thousands of square feet of trash burning near the city limits is also a norm, so this thread is not about that either.

Thread: I just reached my Naya Pakistan home in Islamabad from my Purana Naya Pakistan home in Abbottabad after a five hour journey that should have taken 2.5 hours. Two hours were wasted to cross the 12 km jam to the edge of Abbottabad, but that's normal by now.
