I think part of the problem is people are learning about the trans community from TV, and social media. We are not represented by the loudest voices anymore than any other community is. Chappelle believed she had a human experience. Key word "human", let's all just start there.

Eating out never happened when I was a child. Burger King for a birthday party maybe. But my parents worked hard so I could have a better life and eating out shouldn't be for the Rich. I treat myself to more than burger King and won't be shamed.
