Men and women aren’t the same. And men are 3x more likely to be diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder (sociopathy) and have an earlier onset of schizophrenia. Most mental illnesses aren’t outwardly violent. Men are more likely to suffer from violent mental illnesses.

Honest question: There’s a big push, which I support, for universal background checks including mental-health checks for purchasing firearms, in order to try and prevent mass shootings. If mental illness isn’t a factor in mass shootings, why the push?
