When folks are in mental health crisis, they are unlikely to plan an attack like this. When we label folks expericing a mental health crisis as dangerous or criminal, we stigmatize them & prevent them from seeking help. We open the door to discrimination. #stopthestigma

Schizophrenia is much more likely to result in violence than depression. Also, so is antisocial personality disorder (sociopathy, sometimes referred to as psychopathy). Agreed?

Not true. Depression w/suicide ideation is more dangerous to the individual. Also not always considered a SMI. Schizophrenia is not likely to result in violent behavior. Personality disorders are hotly contested. Psychopathy no longer exists in the DSM-5, I believe.
