Dear everybody, If your reaction to being turned down for a date or embarrassed is to go get guns and kill the person who did it along with many others, you’re not an asshole, you’re a sick person who needs serious psychiatric help. Our (mental) healthcare is atrocious.

Don't "all lives matter" this. It's not 'everybody' that does this. It's men. Almost exclusively.

Nobody will read this because the problem is men as a whole, not any sort of rationality about why this happening. I say you’re correct

We do a terrible job of addressing mental illness. We basically don’t address it at all. This sets people up to fail at society in myriad ways. And well-meaning people just declare mentally ill people “lazy” or “assholes” or whatever suits them, and down the toilet we continue.

Absolutely. It’s a mental health problem and no one wants to talk about that. It just comes down to the guns fault despite the fact there are millions of gun owners who don’t shoot up anyone. That’s the easy answer.
