Males = less likely to seek help, more likely to be diagnosed as sociopaths, and schizophrenia generally hits them earlier (in their teens), among other things.

We do a terrible job of addressing mental illness. We basically don’t address it at all. This sets people up to fail at society in myriad ways. And well-meaning people just declare mentally ill people “lazy” or “assholes” or whatever suits them, and down the toilet we continue.
