They’re not going to bring us universal healthcare while they’re being paid by the healthcare lobby and are also successful in what they view to be their job: getting elected. The only way to get them to move on *any* issues that matter is to let them lose.
Losing will cause them, eventually, to change their policy positions in order to gain favor with the electorate. If they’re winning, they don’t have to gain favor with the electorate and they continue the status quo. Let them lose. They deserve it. We deserve real change.

seems to me...if universal healthcare was truly the Dem’s policy position, we would already have it. they have had control of both houses and the presidency twice in recent decades... what they have been able to work out: how to get themselve$ paid
