Occupational licensing is the reason libertarians don't win? No, libertarians don't win because often the have unserious candidates who know nothing about campaigning.

Occupational licensing for DOCTORS is a problem, according to you. We’re not talking about hairstylists. It’s *doctors*. And having a problem with licensing *doctors* is asinine.

It's not, though. Nobody should be forced to receive a license to perform a service. How about this- Steve, would you go to a doctor who didn't have a licence? Why or why not?

Not a chance. Somebody needs to verify they actually went to the school they say they went to and actually have the skills and knowledge they say they have.

Okay, but you made that decision. You didnt need government to come in and tell you not to go to that doctor. And there in is the issue. The government does not need to have a role in this voluntarily entered exchange.

That is why Libertarian Party candidates can’t win.

That's not an argument to the point I just made. You don't seem to understand the harm that occupational licensing has on very real people, be they in the medical field or otherwise. You're being wilfully obtuse.
