Right. And at that point, without the ability to say “no” to *all* options, you’re a captive market, not a free market. Free-market capitalism works fantastic. Problem is, the most profitable industries we have are not free markets, and left unregulated, destroy our economy.
No, it won’t. Because demand for healthcare services is automatically very high. Healthcare providers have absolutely no reason to significantly lower costs. All it does is take money from everybody in the marketplace. 1/2

It’s collusion. They don’t have to directly communicate to collude. They know what’s in their best interests and they all do *that*. Same reason Democrats and Republicans don’t offer significantly better candidates. It’s not in their best interests. 2/2

1. The demand for services is high, but the supply for services would also be high in a less regulated market (elimination of market entry barriers). 2. The GOP/DNC don't 9ffer better candidates because they have shut out competition (ballot access) for third party candidates.
