There’s no guarantee those 45,000 would’ve voted. Over 1.5 million *eligible* voters in Wisconsin didn’t vote in 2016. So why are we focusing on the 45,000 here?

The Voter ID laws target poor people. I’d be okay with those laws if state IDs were free. But they aren’t. And that’s the issue. Those laws essentially say, “Pay this fee to vote.” That’s wrong.

Why doesn’t someone at the state elected level recognize the issue, and resolve it? Seems like that shouldn’t be too difficult. But we are talking about governmental process I guess..

Because both parties, as with everything, want the problem to remain a problem. That way they can divide the electorate to support their side.
