Everybody speaks for the group. That’s why it’s a group.
Societies are all our responsibility, and they don’t end at borders made up by politicians. Our government has ousted Syrians from their homes. They deserve new homes at our expense.

And what gives you the authority to speak for any 'part' of the group that disavows your authority to speak for them? Again, your 'part of the group' can pay for the programs they want, or don't complain when forced to pay for things you don't want.

My point is that you want to pretend to represent all of us and make all of pay for things rather than simply taking the burden upon yourself. You are more than welcome to house refugees in your own house. Not volunteer other people's houses.
