Democrats are claiming all these Republicans who are not seeking re-election are because of this “blue wave.” Thing is, it’s hard to justify the corporate money flowing into these races/parties if it’s too lopsided, and the Democrats have lost >1000 seats in 10 years. So...
Has anybody considered that the Republicans are ditching these races in order to intentionally help the Democrats get back into the game?
Because having two parties running neck-and-neck is much better for motivating donors to pitch in on either side...
