A society is responsible for the actions of everybody in it. Our wars, & the deaths of MLK, JFK, Malcolm X, Lincoln, etc, are inextricable from the 3000/month who die for lack of health insurance, everyday victims of gun violence, etc. We won’t fix it if we skirt the blame.

The people are supposed to *be* the government. The fact that it’s not the case is *because* of your attitude that the government and the people are separate things. We are responsible for both our government and our society. All of us.
