Rob, article 1 section 8 mentions the militia to be funded, armed, etc, by congress. The 2nd Amendment (amending the Constitution) acknowledges the importance of *that* militia then goes on to say the right of the *people* (in contrast to the militia) shall not be infringed.

I just explained the correct intent and interpretation of that amendment concisely and accurately. I can now tell you’ve never read the constitution. You should try it. (Hint: It tells you how you can amend [“revise”] anything in it, including other amendments.)
