I didn't agree that truth isn't "a" motivator for them, just that it might not be the only one. Let's say they are resisting Trump's administration proactively. Why exactly would you have a problem with that? The man is trying to turn this country into a dictatorship.
It isn’t a motivator. The only motivator is self-interest. The only time they tell the truth is when it serves their interests to do so. 1/2
