Noteworthy that a majority of the Democrats running for Congress in NY’s 1st District have endorsed single-payer—not simply “universal health care.”
I always say “universal healthcare at about 12% of GDP” because that’s the most it costs anywhere else wth universal healthcare. The answer might be single-payer, but the current #m4a bill leaves us above 15% (down from current 18%). Most of Europe is *not* single-payer...
