Our government has a history, & a present, of doing the same. It’s just that we’re expected to believe that we’re “the good guys.” Any entity who does those things is disqualified from consideration as “the good guys.” Let’s clean our own house before we worry about Putin’s.

I'm all for cleaning our house. We are not "doing the same".

Yes, we are. You likely know it. We were/are funding ISIS and Al Qaeda against Assad (and likely elsewhere), and those groups have used chemical weapons. For one example. That fits your exact accusation about chemical weapons. Should I make the case for each thing?

Funding ISIS and Al Qa'ida? Seriously? My friends and I put ourselves in harms way to battle those groups. I'm glad you have the right to say dumb stuff and I tried my best to defend that right but you should be ashamed you believe that.

That last link from the right, this one from the left. https://www.thenation.com/article/why-does-the-us-continue-to-arm-terrorists-in-syria/ … Maybe you think I’m stupid. Maybe you think all us normies are beneath you. But I’m not, and we aren’t.

I don't think you are beneath me but I also know you are wrong. This country spent a lot of blood and treasure to keep our country safe from these monsters, and for you to suggest that we support them is shameful. You should maybe serve before trying to lead.

Want me to get into Libya, the Arab Spring, or the “high confidence” of WMDs in Iraq, “yellow cake” or Amy of those things? Because I gave you one example, but there are many others...

Patriotism is like parenthood: If you let your child misbehave, then lie about it, and you don’t correct your child, you end up with a child none of the other kids like. That’s nationalism. “My country right or wrong” leads mostly to the latter.

If you love your child, you correct your child. I’m running so we can begin correcting our child, both for what she’s doing at home as well as elsewhere.
