it's true, but nothing made me more uneasy than libertarians staring at the screen saying "we'll never strike first, but we are fully armed and trained to retaliate to whatever force comes our way". as if pushing other people to be violent against you isn't a thing.
Physical violence may be an option, but it should only be in direct defense from physical attack.

I guess I have more faith in people than that. And frankly, if there’s a group of armed people, that strikes me as a *deterrent* not an *invitation*. But maybe that’s just me.
