Not only that, but people have been making ARs at home for well over a decade now. Gun bans won’t change mass shootings. Background checks are a good idea but won’t change much either. But fixing our society and it’s socioeconomics will.

Nobody said banning guns will stop ALL shootings. But it will drastically reduce the amount of shootings over time. Once a large percentage of guns are off the streets and out of people's hands and harder to attain, you'll see the difference. It's late rly obvious to most people

Banning guns is not magic. If you could ban guns and that would result in those guns disappearing, sure. But again, over 340 million *unregistered* guns here. Cocaine is still available and its supply has to be replenished. Guns are not biodegradable. It’s magical thinking.
