According to the CBO, of every 830 Americans per year who lack health insurance, 1 will die as a result. 28 million lack insurance with the ACA. So, almost 36,000 per year die under the ACA. 3000/month. 100/day. Many of whom are very likely children. 1/2

I’m not denying these stats. I’m fully on board with single payer.

And I’m fully on board with making sure you and yours are covered one way or the other. I just hate that people defend the ACA when it represents a very real handout to big business at the expense of the middle class and ill people.

But it also represents a set of standards insurance companies must follow. At this point, w/out single payer, it’s better than where we were before:

It’s better for your situation. And I don’t want you to think I’m discounting that, because your situation is a tenuous one, and you and yours are definitely *entitled* to healthcare.
