So, what happens between 18 and 21 that provides training?

There is some stuff if you plan to hunt then it is now mandatory to complete hunter safety courses but if you just own the gun...nothing. Some ranges might require a training for membership. But it is not mandatory anywhere in any state. This I think needs to be changed.

Ok. But at 18, you can handle those courses the same as at 21, right?

Think about a person at 18 going to college and a person at 21 going to college..those 3 yrs a lot changes still in the brain.

All that changes is 3 years of experience.

No there are also brain changes. Actually even until you are 25.

So, would you support making voting, drinking, driving, going into debt, military, police, etc, all become legal at 25?

So overall yes, sure make it 25, but we have to support them all until they get there and they need to be able to have a future that they are prepared for. If young people consented to having their education and training last until 25 why the heck not.
