Idealism is nice but “one rotten apple ruins the bunch.” The reason why we have many laws is not for the ones who follow and respect laws but for the ones who do not. It’s about balance. So where is that balance. I think that’s what many are asking.
Me neither. But logically, at least from my side, that means if you believe most people are good people - and I definitely do believe 95% of people are inherently good, maybe higher - then allowing people to be armed means you’ll be allowing good people to be armed. Right?
