Dude, honestly, I was in a hotel room in Toronto on location for work and literally sobbed when I saw the news about Sandy Hook. I wept like a child. But my first reaction wasn’t “how could he have gotten the gun.” I knew how he got the gun: We have more guns than people! 1/2
So *my* first reaction was, “How was nobody there to protect those kids?!” I accept reality where it can’t be changed. Alinsky said you just accept the world as it is, not as you wish it were. That’s what I do. Can you do that, too? Consider this my attempt at discourse. 2/2
