Some Green voters likely would've voted for Clinton had they thought she'd lose. But so many of them say they'd never vote for a Democrat - especially a candidate like Clinton - no matter what. One can of course denounce that mindset. But ignoring it doesn't make it go away.

Although, each individual component matters in a close loss. But weighting factors seems like a good idea.

They’re trying to sell the idea that votes are owed to a person and using Stein for that. But if more people from your own party voted for the person who actually beat you, seems like even if we buy the “owed votes” narrative, it’s Dems who lost her the race, not Stein voters.
