I still cannot understand why people would belong to parties and then fight the party about doing what’s right. If all of these people left that party and just won as independents, displacing Dems, you’d probably fix that party. And if the party didn’t change, it’d die. “Purity” is what people without principles call principles.

If being "principled" was voting 3rd party or staying home in one of the most consequential elections when SCOTUS and court stacking (amidst many other issues you claim to care about) were at stake I don't know what to tell ya

"principled" should be protecting what you have to keep pushing for what you want rather than standing outside and critiquing while the world goes to hell because your not inspired by your choices. Most have a lot more to lose in those cases.
