This is worth reading and understanding. Notice the heavy emphasis on mental health in Europe. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2018/02/15/europe-had-school-shootings-too-then-they-did-something-about-it/ … HT: @CarpeDiemWine

I totally agree. However there needs to be smarter gun laws.See something say something policy is great but w only 35k FBI members, how can they affectively follow up on every tip, missing nothing? It's too much & places too much responsibility on them w inadequate resources. 1/2

Limit access to weapons by mentally ill. No guns to those on terrorist watch list at all. Close gun show sales. More stringent background checks. But that's just me...

Ok. So, I’m going to critique this list: 1) We need universal healthcare. We don’t have mental healthcare available, therefore cannot limit *legal* access (and can’t limit illegal access at all) 1/3

2) There’s no due process on the watch list. Nobody knows how to get on or off it. Limiting rights based on a secret watch list controlled by unaccountable government employees is not a good idea. 3) Don’t know how we could do this.

4) More stringent background checks. Yes. But this goes back to the mental-healthcare point. 3/3
