I totally agree.However there needs to be smarter gun laws.See something say something policy is great but w only 35k FBI members, how can they affectively follow up on every tip, missing nothing? It's too much & places too much responsibility on them w inadequate resources. 1/2

Limit access to weapons by mentally ill. No guns to those on terrorist watch list at all. Close gun show sales. More stringent background checks. But that's just me...

Mandatory backgrounds checks for private sales/gun shows. Once gun is sold there should be follow up and all gun handlers must have to take mandatory handling classes. If guns are fired by accident due to poor handling they should have revoked privileges for several years.

Please don’t take this as a heavy criticism, but the problem I keep seeing is that people come up with all these potential gun laws without thinking about what it actually would fix, or how it would affect black-market sales or straw sales.

I am a gun owner, I have trigger licks, removed bolts, ammo stored in locked cases. I want to see that in every home that has guns. Period. I used to be NRA member, we left after they refused to support mere safety measures.

I went through mandatory hunter safety classes, gun handling classes by safety groups NOT NRA or gun lobby groups should be who certifies, that is not the case everywhere in this nation.
