They’re intertwined. All things are intertwined. And you couldn’t even admit those studies are based entirely on diagnoses, & that we lack diagnoses because we lack healthcare. Reagan defunded our mental-health infrastructure in 1984. You act like this hasn’t played a major role.

It's played a major role in the deterioration of mental health services in this country. It is not a major driver of gun violence. You are conflating the two issues to serve your agenda.

Yep. Stop and think: How many people who shoot their wives would you estimate are in therapy for marital issues, by percentage, if you had to guess? My guess: Nearly zero. If they snap and kill their wife, in that moment, they’re certainly mentally ill.

Oh my god. Mental illness doesn't show up one moment and go away the next. So it's not just suicide and mass shootings that you think are caused by mental illness. It's also all gun-related violence against women. Your position needed clarification after all.
