I'm being earnest. But I can do my own research.

So am I. It’s not a trick question. I’ve found that many believe “progressive” is just about social policy. Others believe it’s just another word for “Democrat.” I don’t believe those things. Progressives should *lead* conversation and policy *forward*. 1/2

Obama and Hillary both came out in favor of equal LGBTQ rights *after* they knew the SCOTUS was about to rule in favor of it, for example. Not progressive at all. So, what’s a progressive to you? 2/2
