My first reaction was: “How was there nobody there to shoot the shooter?!” We call cops because they have guns. Cops waited over 5 min to enter the school while shooting was happening. Pandora’s Box is open. We need to address the world as it is, not as we wish it were. 2/2

At least 2 responses to your question have been revealed during previous events: 1) there WAS someone with a gun who either was killed or in the wrong place, so how many is enough? 2) How can you tell if a guy with a gun is the original gunman or a "good guy"? Whom do you shoot?

1) No solution is a 100% fix. That said, I think the solution is “School Marshals” not uniformed security. They just become the first target, or the person to avoid. 2) Good guy will put down the weapon and put his hands up upon police arrival. Bad guy will shoot at them.

What about *before* the police get there? That was your point, right? How do you stop the real gunman? How is the "good guy with a gun" to recognize that another "good guy w a gun" is not the actual shooter?
